Healthy Grilling Recipes to Make This Summer

California Grilled Chicken


  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1tsp. garlic powder.
  • ¾ c. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • Fresh ground black pepper
  • 4 slices of mozzarella
  • 4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of avocado
  • 2 tbsp. freshly sliced basil for garnish
  • 4 slices of tomato
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling


  • Whisk together garlic powder, balsamic vinegar, honey, oil, Italian seasoning with salt and paper. After pouring chicken, marinate for 20 minutes.
  • When ready for grilling, heat the grill medium to high. Oil the grates and grill chicken until it is charred and cooked, 8 minutes for each side.
  • Top chicken with mozzarella, tomato and avocado and cover the grill to melt for 2 minutes.
  • At the end, garnish with the basil and drizzle with the balsamic glaze.

 Cilantro Lime Grilled Salmon


  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Fresh ground black pepper
  • Kosher salt
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • ¼ c. honey
  • ½ c. lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. chopped cilantro
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced


  • Season saltwater salmon with pepper and salt. Heat the grill and put salmon on grill flesh side down. After passing 8 minutes flip and cook the other side 6 minutes more. Let’s rest for 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, make the sauce in a medium saucepan over a medium heat, add lime juice, butter, garlic and honey. Stir on them until all ingredients are mixed and the butter is melted. After turning off heat, add the cilantro.
  • Pour the sauce over salmon and serve it.

Hot Shot Grilled Salmon


  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 c. sriracha
  • ¼ c. honey
  • 4 skin on salmon fillets
  • For garnish - chopped fresh chives


  • In a large bowl, make marinade, whisk together Sriracha, honey and lemon juice. For basting salmon reserve ½ cup marinade after grilling.
  • Add salmon to a big zip locked bag or pour over marinade and baking dish. Place marinate in the refrigerator for 3 hours or up to all night.
  • Heat grill to high when they are ready to grill. Add salmon and oil grates, baste with marinade and grill until it is cooked, 5 minutes for each side.
  • Garnish with the chives and baste with the reserved marinade.

 Loaded Grilled Cauliflower


  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 large heads cauliflower
  • ¼ c. extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. finely chopped chives


  • From each cauliflower head, remove and discard the leaves. After that trim the stem so that the cauliflower can lay flat on the cutting board.
  • Cut each of the cauliflower into thick sticks about ¾” thick. To cook with the steaks, reserve any loose florets. In a tiny bowl, whisk together garlic powder, olive oil and paprika. Season mixture with pepper and salt.
  • Heat the grill pan to medium. With the olive oil brush one of each steak and place the brushed side down on the grill. With the olive oil mixture brush the top sides and cook until tender and charred in spots, about 8 minutes for each side.
  • Until charred and tender, toss extra florets in the olive oil mixture and grill, turning often about 6 minutes.
  • Drizzle cauliflower with ranch and after that sprinkle cooked bacon and chives on top.

BBQ Grilled Salmon

To cook salmon, this is the fastest and easiest way ever.


  • 2 tbsp. miring
  • 2 tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp. grated ginger
  • 4 tbsp. hoisin sauce
  • ½ tsp. garlic chili paste
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • Juice of ½ a lime and zest

 For the Salmon

  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1/3 c. Asian spicy BBQ glaze
  • About 1/3 lb. each for 2 skin on salmon fillets.


  • In a bowl, whisk all ingredients together and wait at least 15 minutes to let the flavor amalgamate.
  • Again, heat the grill for 5 minutes on high. After that carefully use tongs to rub an oiled paper towel over grates to clean and make sure that no food residue or dirt.
  • Place the salmon fillets on grill directly. Cover it and cook for 2 minutes. Because of using a heavy spatula, flip salmon carefully and place skin side down on grill.
  • Decrease the heat at lower and continue cooking covered for 1 to 2 minutes extra. Lift the lid and brush BBQ glaze over the salmon, apply it generously until the salmon is coated.
  • For serving, remove from grill and top with sesame seeds and green onions.
